00 civic EX/Si first Build thread

Got the engine all put together and finally started! after a month long overhaul
Getting it tuned late monday or first thing tuesday.
With all my mods what WHP do you think it will put down?

Oversized type R pistons
CTR camshaft
Skunk 2 Intake Mani
Skunk 2 throttle body portmatched
Skunk 2 Cam gears
Balanced GSR crank
SuperTech valve train
Minor Port and polish
3 angle valve job
Kiddracing RMF header
Comp. Tech icebox intake
Yonaka 2.5 exhaust with straight pipe
New OEM bearings
New NGK spark plugs and wires

honestly not sure about the whp and either way itll will change depending on the tune.

So bascially ITR with PnP? I say 196 whp...ish

But you were almost spot on with the dyno #'s
I got 198 whp and 136 tq

I'm thrilled about the results.
2 more ponies and I join the NA 200hp club.
Rich said his dyno reads a bit low so if I did it at Speedfactory I would be around 204 whp

CTR cams only add 1 or 2hp by what I've seen at least. Any NA b-series around 200hp is pretty nice. Great job I'm lovin the car!

found the seat on craigslist.
might sell cause i want seats that recline.
Ill put it in and drive around for a week and see how i like it.

the drivers seat.
i wouldnt mind about the reclining if it wasnt a DD
