Looking to trade my 1987 Chrysler Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion, 2.6 Turbo Intercooled 5-speed. It is built, and is ready to handle some more power. I was going to use it for a drift car, but I don't really want to mess it up since the body is in pretty good condition other than some minor ding/dents, and minor rust spots. I am located in Florence Alabama, and looking for a straight up trade. I don't mind losing money selling this car, knowing I have 6,000+ in new parts on it. Comes with a radio, but not installed. 144k Miles on body, 8-9k on the engine. Looking to trade for anything really, I would take 4,000 for it since I have 6,000+ in it..
Clear Title, (3-4 Owners not sure), I am ready to sign it over!
The bad -
Little bit of rust, can't really be seen. I will email you some pictures if you want to see.
Power Steering Pressure Hose cracked when the sway-bar broke, body-roll sucks
Needs a Sway-bar.
Driver Seat is ripped (Just about every seat in these cars rip.)
Will need a transmission in the future, in high rpms it grinds going into third.
Front Bumper needs to be re-painted.
Rear has a crack, I drill the ends of it so it wouldn't get bigger, easy fix most likely.
Wesico Forged Pistons (.10 over)
Forged Crank
Wesico Forged Rods
Balance Shaft Elimination Kit
Ajusa Head Gasket
Clevite Main Bearing Kit
Clevite Rod bearings
Schneider Valve Springs (100 Pounds)
ARP Rod Bolts
TB Rebuilt
Stock 12a Turbo (Needs a S16g or 19c)
88-89 Knock Box (Not installed, but for a backup.)
Stage 3 6 Puck Clutch (Slips when power-shifting, would need a new one if its going to be beat on alot.)
Greddy BoV (It also has a offbrand BoV on it right now, but I can put the old one back on if you want a real thing.)
1st Gen MAS
Manual Boost controller
2 1/2 Downpipe to 2 1/4 (no cat) to a ractive muffler.
New Motor Mounts, Transmission Mounts, and rear-end mounts
It sounds awesome! when I had my cut-out on it, it would have ZERO turbo lag with the small 12a, I would have 16 psi by 1,400 rpms.
I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car anywhere, it is awesome.
