Velocity stack with a filter?

Interesting...

Carlos!
lower that 4x4.... and more pics
Yeah, that's the next thing I'm saving for! What would you recommend? What experiences have you had with different setups?

Pic of Integra cluster? What are your plans with the car?
I wanna do a lot to it! Get the suspension going with some stiffer springs and better shocks, but haven't decided on anything yet, Lower it about two inches. I'd like to do some tracking. Next thing is to get a decent cam, bigger throttle body, and trying to find the quietest exhaust ever, (I like deep low soft sound, but I know with a sohc it wont be too low, but whatever) maybe try to get a stock exhaust from a different car that would keep it quiet!
I'd like to get some gold Rotas GT3's
I think they look sexy on black cars!

GOOGLE PIC

MY CLUSTER!

It's the best I could get it to looking like it belongs there!:!:

Sweeet! That's what I'm going for, tastefull build! Thanks man!:D

Interesting...
Yeah, it is! I got it because it was the only filter that had it,It's hard to explain.
I'd have to take some pictures, but where the filter meets into the pipe it's shaped like a velocity
stack.. You know I'm sayin'?
Here, I found some pitures on google.

If you look at it, it has like better contour and shape. Kinda like a velocity stack.
I think it's better than something that's flat with sharp edges like this....

Yeah! It works, the pugs on the the dash harness are the same on the ek. I had to do alot of repinning, but it works good! The only thing that doesn't work is the door ajar, but that's because I don't think the Ek has them.
Yeah man, the fitment on mine isn't all that great, but it looks good. How did you do yours? Did you have to change out the plugs on the dash harness?

Your filter does not have a velocity stack. Ditch that Pep Boys filter and get a decent filter.

This is a velocity stack.

It would look good if it fit a little better, but I don't think those can.
It's the little details that can ruin the looks of things.

What filter would you recommend? What do you have on your car, and what experiences have you had? I got that Spectre one because I think it would flow better than them other sharp edge ones. I was also thinking if it would be better to go back to the stock filter box and drop in a k&n filter in that, but I'm still debating.
Oh, if I get a velocity stack, I would need some kind of net to make sure I don't suck up random s**t, right?
What kind of gains do people get from those?

It would look good if it fit a little better, but I don't think those can.

Yeah, the fitment is the only detail that I don't like about the teg cluster. Doesn't bother me at night! Haha, looks pretty sick lit up. I just got an idea of maybe getting some fiber glass to shape it, maybe I could make it look stock!

Yah, paint is sleek on the car! Thanks "mylovehx"! It's hard to keep a black car looking sleek though, every single peice of debris shows. :???:

Looking good man. Keep it up. Loving the teg cluster. I don't have fitment issues, cause my car is an integra. :P
