Hi evryone.Recently decided to do this mod on my 96 civic jdm hatch.I did my research on these tweeter pods and read that they fit coupes and hatchbacks so decided to go ahead wid it.Everything went smooth except the part when pushing in the garnish.Pain in the ass. Finally got them in but realised they dont fit as tight as the factory ones i took out.I've had to glue the right one while the left one isnt so bad.The problem is the end piece near to the driver isnt clipping in tight like the factory ones.Anyone else had this problem.Thanks.

Please provide a picture of the back of the tweeter pod. Theres a chance you may not be mounting it properly or the lower hooking tabs arent lining up properly.

Ok guys here are some pics ,1st pic is the right, second pic is the left

in the above pic the top part is not sitting tight enough and drops out after a little driving.took it apart this evening for about the 4th time and still same thing.will see how long it stays like this.

in the below pic on the left it doesnt drop out but to me its still not sitting tight/flush enough like the factory one i took out.

Is it just me or are those not the correct tweeter pods for coupes & hatchbacks? Clearly those tweeters arent fitting properly, but the housings dont look right.

They're the right pods part numbers:-

Mirror tweeter pod- right - 76220-S03-J00ZA -
Mirror tweeter pod-left - 76270S03J00ZA -

The tweeters themselves are intentionally positioned as such. Was easier to mount the tweeter cup inside the hole and screw in from behind than to just glue the tweeter inside and try to get the ring fit flush into the hole.Looks good to me.Sound from the tweeter is awesome , just what was missing, just the pods dont fit as tight as the factory ones i took out.
