The 2006 Motor Trend Car of the Year competition included the following models: Audi A3, BMW 3 Series, ... Mercedes-Benz CLS, Mercedes-Benz R-Class, ...Volkswagen Jetta, and Volkswagen Passat.

though not german...if i had to choose another car off that list it would prolly be the M45..the car is sick inside out...:yummy:

I couldn't find the Pinto in Car of the Year but I did find some real "winners"

the ford thunderbird won car of the year a few years ago. now after ford sold 3 of them, they dont even produce them
