Hello I am new here. I tried a search but couldn't find my answer.
I am repairing a 2007 Civic DX-G Automatic that was hit hard on the front drivers side and severed the main harness and dented the main engine computer case. I replaced the harness with a harness from a 2006 Civic standard transmission. Now it seems when I move the shifter leaver from neutral to reverse or from park to reverse, the 7.5A dash gauge fuse that also controls door windows, locks and power mirror blows immediately.
Does anyone have any experience/info re this item? Do I have to have a main harness that is exactly same part number as the one I had in there? I have been told that the main engine computer for 2007 can only be used - i.e. you cannot use one from a similiar 2006.
