3rd Club Civic Car Show discussion.

Its time to start the Car show.

The first was very successful however the second was a complete dissaster. There were several reasons for this and I do take responsibilty. However, many memebers felt as though it wasnt important to follow deadlines and rules. To eliminate this rules and deadlines will be thouroughly followed.

There is alot of behind the scenes work to make the car show run so I would appreciate any input the members have.


I am using this week to find out what everybody would like to see.

Well if you wanted to make it more like a car show you could do like best of show, best in class, cleanest car (generation separated), and so on. But i also realize the more catergories the more entrants and picutres the harder and longer it would be to upload them all. But it would be nice to find a catergory for everyone.

then like for prizes. the seperate catergories could get like background, or clubcivic decals, or maybe even like a t-shirt or hat.. then like best of show could get a gift certificate to Tunersports or something.

prizes could be anything like from said above wallpapers, decals, gift cert. , t-shirts, hats and what not

i think the first format was pretty good:

best sedan
best coupe
best hatchback
most wild
most clean

then best of show

i would also like to see if "best other" can be added to the mix.

the site is broken down along generational lines and it only makes sence to me to have the car show be broken down along those lines. Also we should keep the coupe hatch 4dr catagories, therefore you can enter into your gen competition and compete across the generational lines in the hatch, coupe, and 4dr competion. we also need to include our non civic driving friends. the catagories should be:
best - 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, coupe, hatch, 4dr,
the additional classes should be, best , non civic honda/acura, non honda acura


if you need any help with any of this jsut let me know black hope. I am around here everyday I obviously have the time.

yeah i dont think too many 8th gens will be in the running, i dont know about 4th gens though. maybe we should see how many entrants we get?

Couldn't you ask any of the 4th gens and 8th gens if they wanted to join. Then see how many it would be if its enough to cat. them in the show?

as far as I am concerned you can leave 8th gen out, as far as I have seen the only 8th gen on here with outwardly visible mods is daniel's lowered ex on s-techs.

my opinion is based off of the difficult time it was to get any interest the last show.. so my suggestion is

best coupe
best hatch
best fodo
best of show

and just keep it real simple..
