I just bought a '90 hatchback dx, I noticed it pulling to the right so I had the allignment checked and apparently the previous owner hit a curb or something. The guy told me the rack needs replaced and i want to say the "knuckle" is broken (I cant remember what he had said). He looked up both parts and turns out they are both obsolete. The car is non power steering and I was wondering if A) replacing the rack myself with say a junkyard find would be reasonable and B) Would it have to be off a non power steering car or could i use a rack off of one with power steering? any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.
