I know there is a kit and special stuff I can buy, but I am wondering if anyone has had any luck doing it on the cheap? I'm not too concerned about it looking perfect
Spend the money and get the factory speaker pods.
In the 4th gen hatch, there really is no better place for rear speakers other than where Honda put them.
