98 Civic EX hood fitment issues

Okay, so I had some work done to me hood/front bumper (was backed into with a trailer hitch) and the hood now has an ugly overbite. It lines up great on the sides and even better at the back near the windshield wiper blades. My question (and tomorrow I'm going to ask a local Honda dealership this too) is this: Is this the right hood for my model/year and if it is, what could cause the overbite? Could it be the latch, or are the hinges bent?

ha mine is like that too on the driver side i think its due to the radiator support ill post a pic of mine later

You might have a 99-00 hood, I think they are a little longer around the front.

if he had a 99-00 hood it wouldn't go with the headlights and grille

Any 96-98 front-end is interchangeable (Fenders, Hood, Grill, Headlights, radiator support too I believe)
The 99-00 front-ends are interchangeable among themselves (same as listed above), to cross over years, you'd have to transfer all of the parts listed above
You sure the Grill or bumper isn't the one that's not aligned right?
