98 EX with keyless question.

I have a 98 EX Civic coupe with keyless entry. If i get the harness for a 96-98 WITHOUT keyless and jump the domelight circuit will I at least have a domelight? Or since I basically eliminated the factory radio will jumping it still not work?

Google shows me about jumping but is that only 96-98 without keyless? IIRC my 96 DX didnt have keyless and when i installed an aftermarket radio I still had a domelight. I've been messing with this thing for weeks now lol.

i have a 98 ex sedan with keyless, i swapped out the radio and everything still works? i have a canadian model though something might be different there, but since nobody else answered yet i thought id at least say that, you might still be ok for your domelight

while we're on the subject I just found out that my car has the factory keyless entry. would anyone know the sequence for programming a remote?
