It has to do with the d16y7 throttle body using a 3 wire iacv on the back of the throttle body, instead of on the back of the manifold like the 2 wire iacv on the d16y8 . And the d16y7 running 190cc fuel injectors instead of the 240cc injectors that the d16y8 runs.
