The hood fits good we just didn't have it latched cause we were buffing out the paint...Im still just undecided, I really want the h-22. but thats alot of money for me to swing on just the swap

i just picked up a 99 hatch just like this. only black. SKunk2 Full coilovers, CF spoon wing, GSR Leather interior, intake, full exhaust, si rear disc conversion, si wheels, SS brake lines blah blah blah.... i paid 3500 for it as well.... it too has a salvage title....

i think you could easily get the money you are asking!

Look around, and you can get it way cheaper than $4,000

Junkyards are your best friend, trust me.
Then read around online, and you will learn how to do it yourself, what kind of problems people run into, etc etc and some sites there will be people backing out of their swaps so you can probably score a mount kit for cheap

As far as the exterior....yea

^^^ thanks for the compliment man

I suggest you keep the car, save up, and do what you always wanted to do. Finish it to your satisfaction

p.s. It will cost you TOTAL, $4000 installed and everything to get the h22 in there.

damn, the hatch is nice...but the taillights kills it. I suggest you get the OEM taillights back.
