Aftermarket Sony cd player fitting issue??

Hello.

Firstly I am new to here so sorry if I've posted in the wrong section..

I recently bought my civic hatchback please see my photo on my profile.. I was looking at putting my song cd player into the car. I bought the fascia and plugs etc but once I'd fitted it I wasn't too happy as it seems to hang out of the dash to some extent so its not very flush..

I'm just wondering if this is a common issue?? I just think it makes the dash area look hideous.

Would appreciate advice.
