Air/Fuel wiring

can anyone tell me where to connect the wires
i know the red goes to the power and the black goes to the gound but i just need to know where to hook the purple one. i know its the signal wire but it says not right at the sensor. so where i do it then?

on autometers web site they have a spot that tells what wire you can go to at the ecu but I don't remember which it is - leme go look

i found the PDF file that tells u but it says not to the O2 sensor but the wire harness
anyone got a how-to

so does this mean i just connect it right where it come off the o2 sensor?

You don't want to connect it right to the wiring at the sensor if you don't have to because it can cause resistance in the wireing and then the gauge won't read right. Do you have a header and what motor is in your car?

ok you can wire it at the sensor but you have to sauter (spelling) the wires- if you just splice them or use but conecters you will have problems

what about if i buy that o2 sensor autometer sells and it looks like they just plug in some how

naw you can do it w/out that but you have to be careful with the wires on the O2 sensor cuz its easy to ruin the sensor

so just take the o2 senor out and find out what wire it is from the autometer site and then just soulder um together

ya but be careful -I ruined on sensor just by braking the signal wire

yeah i saw that and it tell ya what wire or explains it.
if i f**k the o2 sensor how much is one of those

so i should just take some of the shielding off and wrap the wire around it and soulder but dont cut it?
