I have a 99 Civic DX hatchback, with a D16y7, and a 4 speed automatic transmission. Im relatively new at this and would like to change the transmission to manual and the engine to a B18C, what else would i need to do/get for the car for this work smoothly?

just going to mention you can go for a b18a and do an ls swap also. you end up with pretty much the same engine anyway. everything ive looked at says depending on your area it may be a cheaper option. at that point you also opened up alot of options to just buy a whole rusty integra that already has everything you need for the swap.

Money, a garage and time.

You need to actually do a little research....

b18a/b is not "pretty much the same motor" as the B18C1 or any b18C variant....
