bogging

anyway i was driving home from work today and my b16 sedan started sorta losing power. it's like it will drive smootly but when i push the gas some (probably at half to wide open throttle) the car starts to jerk like when begginers drive and they still can't balance it well. it does this even when i'm still and just rev it. the engine will start shaking when it does this. damn this sucks, any input will be great. thanx in advance.

motor mounts
dirty intake (iacv, fatv, tb, maf/map)
bad gas
loose throttle cable
low oil
clogged injectors
bad engine compression
bad plugs

is there a check engine light?

Sounds to me like compression...?

Exhaust problems
Leak
etc.

actually, my header is kind of loose to where it connects to the cat, also when ever i start up the car the whole exhaust would rattle for like 8 sec then it will be fine after that. i didn't think it would be the exhaust though.

does it smell really bad when you first start the car? worse than normal?

no it doesn't smell at all, anyway i took it to a regular shop that i usually take my wife's car to get an oil change, their mechanic test drove it once and said it might be a clogged cat. he said to try to unplugg the o2 sensor on the end of the header and if it drives fine again then it's definetly the cat.
