I've been looking into upgrading my D16's cam gear. Is it worth the $125? (I'm looking at the Skunk2 pro series.) Will I notice any power changes, or is the Skunk2 cam basically just OEM replacement?

the cam gear is all but useless. it is just a minor fix for cam timing with an aftermarket cam. A good engine managment system will do the same thing. So in my opinion, no its not worth the $125

no dont get the cam gear, get a CAMSHAFT. that wil give you some great power. i have a crower stage 1 in mine and just the stage one did wonders for me.

Get it if you plan to add camshafts later
^^^Still a waste on a single cam. You can only retard or advance overall timing, not dial out out overlap.
Ok thanks guys. I wanted to do some upgrades under the hood (no swap or anything super major). Any suggestions on other possible engine upgrades?
