It's in your lower windsheild. It's everywhere on your car.

If you look on your registration, your VIN is there. Your VIN is also on the firewall, on the dash (able to be seen through the windshield), on the driver door jamb and on most major body components (hood, doors, bumpers, fenders, etc.).

"EK" refers usually to any '96-'00 Civic, but true EK chassis are only certain hatches and sedans sold in some countries (Japan and Europe both have true EK chassis, but the United States does not).

Your VIN will start with 1HG, 2HG or JHM. Those characters denote where the car was assembled (US, Canada and Japan). The next three characters are your chassis code.
