So I changed the distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires in my car today and now it won't start. I don't know what I could have possibly done wrong. I double checked the firing order and even reinstalled the old cap, rotor and wires one by one to see if I had a bad part. There has to be something simple I'm forgetting but I'm confused, anyone see what I'm missing? The motor is a Y7 with Y8 head.

You did purchase Y8 components correct?

edit: I just checked the part numbers and they are the same for both so it shouldn't make a difference. Pull each plug and verify spark and let me know.

Yes I did, problem is solved. It ended up being the coil. I guess it was already on it's way out and stopped working when we took off the cap and rotor.

x2. The coil's a little b***h; I was replacing a distributor o-ring (a five dollar fix) when my coil went out. Five dollars turns into 150! Glad you caught the problem.
