carfax request

a friend of mine bought a truck with 86,xxx on the odometer but according to the title the truck has 184,xxx on it. he just received the title in the mail n notice the issue is thinking the registry f**ked up. i was wondering if someone had carfax n can look it up for me before we contact registry. i tried running a free carfax n it came up with 23 records n it wont show me anything else.

i am going though some thing down here in FL. Your title is your proof. Call the DMV and tell them whats going on and they should give you numbers and lead you in the right direction. or just pay for the one time carfax use.

Yea but what if they only look at the newest title witch is wrong. That's why I was hoping some one can help n so we don't look stupid
