chipping paint! what to do?

I used a wire a brush to finish removing the paint. I then hand sanded with a fine grade sand paper. I then clear coated the area. Imo the brushed aluminum looks better then the black

The clear coat on at the end is necessary or the trim will begin to rust

That's what I used. I just taped everything off when doing so. I than did 2 coats of clear.

they also sell door trim paint at the auto store, also you could use plasti-dip with glooss enemal. both look look.

^ this is whats getting done to mine very soon cause its starting to chip a tiny bit gonna nip it in the bud before it gets bad
