civic stalling at full throttle

ok so I bought this 91 sedan.. someone swapped it to muti port fi. dude clames he drove it for last year or what ever no problem.

so as I am driving the car in second gear or higher an if I push the gas to the floor the car just loses all power all together. stalls out till you let up and it catches it self in gear an starts running again.. also in second gear and up it has no power and is extreamly sluggish and wont go past 4k rpm..

anyhelp??

Sounds like the ef I just sold and The guy I sold it to was sketchy lol

cel is only egr valve.. it is stock motor with multi port swap obdo from si

Civic standard, right?

The EGR code suggests that you have the wrong ECU for the MPFI swap. Don't you need the Si ECU?

ya you need the si ecu i beliebe. double check the wiring on the conversion.
