Ok, so I have a stage 2 Crower camshaft, and I know its going to need springs and retainers, but i was just curious about whether it would help or harm my engine to install and run it without turbo..anyone know?

EDIT: and sorry if ive posted on this before, not been on here in a few days, plus my memory sucks sometimes.

EDIT 2: and i forgot to mention the cam shaft is listed for turbo applications...but i still want to know if would really hurt my engine or anything without.

I dont think it will hurt anything, it just produces less power and is less effecient than one for n/a but I'm not a pro at this!

it wont hurt the motor.... but without the valvesprings and retainers, you risk floating the valves i believe.

i say just get the springs and retainers before you put it in... they arent that expansive.
