Distributor oil leak

Tracing oil leak under distributor. 99 DX. It doesn't seem to be the O-ring and no oil inside, bone dry.
It looks like it may be coming from a small "cube" housing on the bottom of the distributor that has a hex head screw in it. What is this thing?

1) As stated in the rules, we need to know the engine and any mods.

2) A picture of what you are talking about would help tremendously.

There is a seal inside the distributor that is causing the leak. I have the same problem. I've seen tuts and how to's on rebuilding one, but your best bet is to get a new dizzy.

that small cube is a wire clamp and does not have oil coming out from it.

Read through the following link as this issue has been previously discussed. The engines may be different but the issues still occur for the same reasons.
