The clutch is quite stiff and it squeaks at times. I have never replaced it. It is possible this is the original clutch. (I am not the original owner) My car has 110k miles. It this thing toast? I will be researching in the mean time.

Why is my clutch so messy? The problem is getting worse.

This doesn't seem right. I have never bothered looking into it. Can anyone show me the piece that appears to be missing. Thanks

Replace the clutch master cylinder and then bleed the hydraulic system. The job is very easy if you buy the $4 One Man Brake Bleeder tool from Harbor Freight Tools.

That isn't your clutch.

As RonJ stated, that is your clutch master cylinder that is leaking. A new one will fix your messy problem.

Take care of the MC. Was your clutch always stiff?
