Ok, so I just got back from Australia 3 days ago from a 3 week stay. My car is running rough, doesn't idle properly, almost is like it is missing a cylinder. Spark plugs and distributor are fine. The CEL is on and when I drive it will flash either 5 times or 8 times. I tried to use a code reader, but it did not link. My dad told me that while I was gone, the battery went dead and he ended up charging it with a battery charger over night. Could that have anything to do with it? I need my car for work so I am kinda worried. Is driving it in this condition bad?
