first color change-try

I wanted to try to change the color of a car... so I changed 4mako 99 SiR. I didnt ask, but I didnt think I really needed to. I hope its ok... :/.

I didnt take the time to go indepth... but yah. Ill have more soon! -I hope

Its not bad, but you really should have did the steps I say in my tutorial.... If you just change the hue of it you get weird shadow colors and such.... I can tell you just changed the hue because the hood is slightly orange....

I know the orange is WAAAAY better... its quite insanely enough to make me paint my midori ek hatch that color... but NAH!

Ill edit the hood and roof tomorrow... but if you look at his pics, his hood and roof are alittle gray themselves.

Those types of reflections are normal, though....

When you change the color of a white or black car use levels to make it lighter or darker in order to get the color right.....

I wanted the color to look kinda lighter... but heres a CF hood on the orange EP... it needs work, but yah.

Not bad, just be extra careful on where you select the hood at....

You are doing exactly what you need to do in order to get better.... Tutorials can only take you so far... Eventually you just need to try experimenting with different things..... And it helps immensely when you are completely familiar with all the tools.....
