I just got these fogs squared fogs for my 6th gen, and installed them I'm having a hard time adjusting them, the knob protection will move but not adjust the aim, has anyone worked that out?

I'm just projecting all the light directly into the ground.

Thanks!

Are they oem or aftermarket? I have seen aftermarket light's adjusting mechanisms not work bc they are cheap.

Maybe try shimming it at the mounting points? I got some bad headlights one time and just ended up ordering different ones lol.

Well I'll try some different tactics... maybe i'll have to change the adjusting nob...

Hard time to find these at Brazil, all brought to the country are crappy ebay copies...

Actually these squared fogs were never sold in Brazil... only the round ones...

how do you want them aimed? the foglights are more of an ID light instead of a light to light up the road

I know, actually they were perfect in the past (ride was on TEIN Htech), after rising the car they are actually all the way down... lets say 1 to 2 yards from the car... no more than that.

Hey just fixed my fogs... Had to remove the front bumper... Go straight to the screw on top of the nob and turn it... took a few times removing and placing bumper on its place and checking all a wall a few feet away... Anyways worked great! Now I can drive normaly with the fogs on this foggy region of Brazil.

Thanks guys for the help!

James, word of advice to our friends at ClubCivic... BUY ORIGINAL FOGS... Don't go for ebay ones if you can find the OEM Fogs... It will save you time, and for sure money too!
To be honest, people have been saying that for years now. You get what you pay for.

I Agree Lethal6, the only problem is that in Brazil you'll only find ebay...

In the other hand all other parts are OEM or Aftermarket that we know are great parts! LOL...

I agree, OEM parts are the way to go. And it's ok if you have to order from Ebay, it jsut may take longer to find the OEM parts you're looking for. Ebay's like any other market. You can find great stuff, just have to wade through a bunch of junk to get to the real deal. If it's brand new and dirt cheap, then it's probably crap
