Got this from another forum i visit daily, figured you guys can get something good out of it too.

We'll inspect your Honda -- at no charge to you -- during Honda Car Care Days. Thanks to this detailed 40-point inspection, you'll know if anything on your vehicle needs attention. How's that for great detective work?

April 1-30, 2007
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.


Your convenient 40-point inspection will include:

A thorough examination of your Honda's engine, brakes, drivetrain, suspension and steering components.
A detailed report of your vehicle's condition.
Inspection completed by Honda-trained technicians.
Open Saturdays.
Full line of replacement tires.

Wow free?!?!?! Nothings free these days. Gotta get on this. I know my car is having a few problems so I need to get em checked out.

This was brought up a few times last year.

As it goes, some dealers will some won't. Most will.

Nice, where I go to school there is a participating dealership like 5 minutes away. I'll have to give them a call and find out the requirments.

We have always been doing a 40point inspection with every vehicle that comes through our service drive. Not saying how well our techs check the stuff but we atleast have the paper.

I'm glad my service manager doesn't tell us about this type of s**t.

I'm 100% commission. Having ppl coming in and getting inspected takes away from my customers that will be spending money with us. Oh well

yeah

i took my old 94 accord to kastner honda, in Napa, CA when they did this in 2005 ... it had a short ram, axle back, lowered, and 17s

For anyone who lives in the north bay, dont go to these idiots. They tried to tell me that the inspection was only for certain people, but they would do my car anyway because honda "messed up" or some s**t like that

now that i live in the sticks, closest dealer that is participating is 40 miles south of me.

yeah we do this once a year for honda car care days, and sometimes, not always the customers will get gifts aswell, but that might have to do with them buying services's if they are sold to them.
