getting new tires... need on input

I'm planning on getting some new tires for the season but just wanted to get some input on two specific brands.... the total difference in prices is like $40...just seein' if anyone has these tires and wanted to get some info. about them...Dunlop SP Sport FM901 or Kuhmo Ecsta SPT

is the SPT aimed at replacing the 712 ecsta supra???

I put General Exclaim on mine. Its an old company. My dad said he had those on his car back in high school. They were about 100 a peice and the tread life is good so far. No signs of wear after 6 months.
