Hello all! I'm very new to civics as most of my cars have been fox body mustangs but I always like the 4th gen hatch cars. I'm on the lookout of a good hatch to be my DD and my new project car. I know very little about what to look for in a civic or what to pay once I've found one. There is a 1989 si in my area that needs paint but runs and drives good, has 187,xxx miles. guys asking $1900. Is that about right?? Any input would help! thanks guys!

i agree...you could get something better for 2k...have you looked at any other than the 4th gen?

I bought my 91 CRX Si with 188k and a rebuilt head, new rims and tires, s**t ton of aftermarket suspension work, for a grand.
Damn. I got jipped. I got my 4th gen with Ebay coilovers. GSr blades, an intake, Neuspeed strut bar, BANGING sound system (Sold), and 2nd Gen integra seats.....and all the oil rings were SHOT. for 1400......
