Good way to lower my car

So i drive an 04 civic ex sedan

I want to lower my car and i want to know what is the best way to do this. Im not looking to spend a whole lot but i also dont want something thats cheap and wont even last me a year. Ive looked up quite a bit about differences between coilovers vs shocks and springs vs coilover sleeves and shocks.

I dont need a setup that gives a lot of performance improvement just something that will give me a good drop and is reliable.

So far ive looked at raceland coilovers questionable because they are so cheap are they any good.

also looked at the skunk2 coilover sleeves and shocks

Im open to all suggestions and any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on how low you want to go. I have s2 coilovers on my coupe with stock struts. It rode fine until I blew the stock struts. But I was maxed out for like 2 months. If you just lower it a little bit, the struts should be fine.

raceland is the worst quality suspension you can find and using just sleeves as stated will most definitely blow your shocks and struts. my advice to you is save up $$1,200-$1,500 for something good or leave your suspension alone.

Pick up some koni yellows/reds and ground control coilovers or spring of your choice and call it a day.
