Great lakes Camping trip

Ok so i know we just had to the BBQ. WHich was great!!! But we had a conversation at the Dells meet and at the Summer BBQ meet about having a camping trip. So this thread is for that. This is what we need:

Where?? Need so suggetions on a good location. Prefered to be one thats not super busy.

When?? I was thinking late August. Not labor day weekend. But maybe the weekend before. Or the weekend after (which would be in September.)

Also looking to do this on like a two night stay Fri & Sat nights.

I was thinking either the weeknd before or the weekend after Labor Day. Devils Lake would be a great place. Actually bathrooms and plenty of hiking and fishing.
