how does that neck thing activate itself?

it won't activate on its own. there's a cord that's attached to the system. you would attached the other end to the bike so when you fall off, it deploys automatically. and if you deploy it either by accident (which would be me cuz i would forget to take the cord off before dismounting) or in a real accident, you can deflate and restore the air bags for future incidents as long as it's not severely damaged. definitely gonna get that system in a one-piece suit when i begin goin to track days.
