im picking up a H23A1 Prelude engine for my civic because i blew the D16y8 motor. now when i get this, do i need to get the H23A1 motor mounts being its for the prelude or can i still use the D16y8 mounts? i figure i would need the mounts for the prelude engine. and also a new Exhaust for the motor. is that right? red line is about the same as the d16y8 like 6500 rpm so can use my gauge for abit untill i can replace it and tranny gonna be stock less i can buy one after i junk my old engine and tranny for the right prelude .

need some advise on this please. not sure if i have everything thought of and wutnot

First you need to make some minor body work in order for the gearbox to fit. (what i have read)

Im pretty sure you need new engine mounts. (hasports?)

The engine is heavier, so you might need stiffer front suspension.

Its quite a lot of work to do, but its not impossible =)
