whats up clubcivic, i was just wondering from all of your personal experiences with the B16. What does a healthy B16 sound like. And perform like? thanks! and how do they do with high rpms and and reliability of a bone stock b16. thanks for your feedback in advance! have a great day!

I'm not sure what you're asking... A healthy motor sounds....like a healthy motor? No knocks, no ticks (very slight is okay and normal).

B16's aren't the greatest but they don't suck considering you could be worse off (ie - D-Series). They don't make much more torque than a D16Y8 but they make more power. A lot of people use the B16 transmission on B18B's or B20's since it's shorter geared. Stock, they can be just as reliable as any other Honda motor as long as it's properly maintained.
