I have a 1993 civic hatch and my heater control is messed up. The settings 1 and 2 dont work, but 3 and 4 do. If i remembered correctly, i saw a thread on here awhile ago with something like this, but cant seem to find it. It's really bugging me that my lowest possible fan/heater setting is 3 because I dont like cold air blowing hard in the mornings right away so if anyone can direct me to the forum or come up with possible solutions to this, Thanks.

Sounds like the resistor pack that is typically in the airflow path in the heater.
Inside the airflow view
it's really sort of coils of wire
Outside view....the smaller one is what you're looking to replace.
