Help overheating

Hey guys my engine started over heating tonight i checked hoses and the one under my dizzy had a rip so i ccut it and put it back on and its still over heating there is no cel codes at all.

Its a jdm d15b vtec with aem short ram intake and dc headers

Did you bleed the cooling system?

Bleeding the cooling system may take 20-30 minutes.

1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.

2) Push the dash heater lever/knob to MAX heat.

3) Follow the directions in the diagram below (hint: the bleed bolt is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine):

Do i just untighten it never bleed anything b4 lol

Are you able to follow the instructions I posted? Is there something you don't understand?

If the fan doesnt click on is that a good thing during this process cause it ran for 10 min and while it warmed up never kicked on bit it did kick on when it was over heating

yes just loosen the bolt until water comes out. also your thermostat could be stuck closed. which will cause your car to over heat

I had to fix a overheating problem too, Listen to RonJ, he knows his stuff.... thats why mines fixed! I needed a fan switch! mine would kick in only after the car's temp hit bust....
