i recieved a new license plate today... and it has different regitration number on the front... im scared to change my plate and go to jail for that:(.. the plate include a update registration sticker.. my question is.. is it legal in texas to change you license plate with different numbers and letters? pls help me out

If I'm understanding you correctly you got your registration in the mail which notes "new plates required" then you got the new plates but the numbers/letters on the new plates are different from the old plates? If so that is totally fine. They should have given you 2 plates, just throw them on and your good to go. Here in Tex you get new plates around every 6 years.

hahahahah.. may car is 7 years old=)).. i figured it out.. i have brand spanking new plates. my old plates are really dirty and mess up=)).. thanks for the reply guys
