personally, as a mod, i consider these basic requirements or qualities. . .
- decent technical knowledge, both on civics and vbulletin.
- friendliness and willingness to get along with most people, if not everyone... and otherwise refraining from being involved in any kind of flaming, hating, etc. (i know i've failed this a couple times)
- willpower. self-control. not having power trips.
- making decisions that might be against one's own opinions/beliefs for the greater benefit of the site.
- being able to catch threads made in the wrong section
- upholding clubcivic guidelines and regulations. (it's three warnings before the ban)
- hmm. not sure what else...

im all for it... i think she would be a hella good mod. deffy in vip, possibly in the midatlantic and/or northeast regional forum (dunno if thats a responsibility you want tho, amy). we need a local regional mod anyways. and of course i think you would do well in the exterior forum, with all your detailing experience and knowledge. possibly other forums.. but i cant really think straight right now.
i def agree NOFX is a nice person, but i dont think she should be a mod...there are already plenty of mods on this site, and except for all the porn she seems to post, she doesnt post much else...which is fine, i have no problems with it...i just think it takes more than that to be a mod
I would vote for blue hatch to be a mod as well because he's always on. just as much as I am. but that doesn't mean he should be a mod either. I just hope JayJay keeps it the way it is. I've been to some sites before where they start making mods for each sub-board and then the boards got really boring because everyone went on power trips and the people who weren't mods left because they got left out...I know CC is more mature than that but it just causes problems when you start adding a bunch of mods. some poeple might start thinking, why was that person made a mod when I'm more qualified.
