i had something similiar btu i had CAI.... raining like crazy and when i hit around 3.5K, it would die prolly from sucking too much water, my filter is exposed but didn't hit any puddle... luckily it starts up again, it happened to me twice in the same day. it sucks but glad my motor is ok... i never checkd the dizzy... butmaybe thats the case wit my other civic... it just cranks and dont' start....
