When I turn off the car, I can't remove the key from the ignition. When I turn it on, I can't shift out of park without putting the spare key into the shift release slot. A while back this happened and it seemed related to the brakes - if I pumped hard or put the parking brake on hard, it would release when they were released. Not so today. I have to carry spare keys. I had to leave the key in the ignition to go into the store today, and lock the door, and reopen with the other key. I think I need 2 more spares. Is this electronic? Mechanical?
Rear defroster indicator light on the dashboard is out. Do I just pull that module and replace the bulb, or have to remove the whole dash?
