Importing issues with Canadian Acura CSX-S

I'm thinking hard about dropping my 6th gen for the Canadian quasi "JDM-spec" Acura CSX-S, and doing a mild conversion.

Curious if the process of registering a Canadian car in the United States is really that hard. I imagine it can't be..

Has anyone on CC done this? Any thoughts?
