I just recently got a jdm motor put into my car and when I push it the vtec doesn't kick in until 6 rpms and it don't seem to have any power, what could be the problem wit the vtec

If it's like your sig says, and a 99 ex. you won't have much power if there isn't much done to it. Even bolt ons on a y8 would only bring you to only like maybe 125whp. Also, your rpm's may be climbing fast enough to were if just seems like it kicks at 6000 and not 5500.
Did you swap the ecu? What you running? More info please.
