When i push the gas on my car theirs a knocking noise coming from the motor, anyone know what may be the problem. i only does it when i push the gas but when i stop it doesnt do it anymore...

could it be anything dealing wit the timing belt?
what if it is a rod knock, can those be replaced or have to get a new motor?

Start by filling the tank with gas from a different station and checking the ignition timing with a timing gun.
