Main Relay = Interchangeable?

Hey quick question people,

I wanted to test an issue with my car to see if its the main relay causing problems, and a friend of mine has one laying around somewhere and i was going to try it out and see.

Question is, it's from his old CRX, would it work with my Civic?

I know the EF and DA main relay's are interchangeable (read on Honda-Tech), so i was wondering if the Rex relay would work.

no i dont think soo, go to a junk yard and pull 1 off, there bout 40-50new

damn, i dont wanna have to go buy a part just to see if thats the problem.

I'm really doubtful that thats the cause of my problem (im 90% sure its the dizzy), but faulty dizzy and main relay symptoms are often similar, which is why i wanna do a quick test.

If anyone has any other input lemmie know.
