My 05 TL

Got this car back in August. I posted a few pics when I first got it but decided to post up some pics since I just waxed it. I love this car and has a lot more torque than what i'm use to, haha. Oh, and it is amazing on gas for a 6cyl...on my trip to Massachusetts, I was able to do it on one tank of gas, averaging 32 mpg

AEM Cold Air Intake
DC Sports Short Shifter
Dom's TVandNAV2Go (for rear view camera)

Many people don't know this, but one way you can tell a TL is a 6spd or not is by these factory installed brembo's. However, automatic Type S' also came with them

Pic of the daily...was gonna sell it but decided to keep it since I put in the DX tranny and now gets 35+mpg

And since I had the camera out, I decided to take a pic of my dad's 1982 Benz 300CD Turbo Diesel only 120k miles. He's the second owner, bought it in 87, before I was born. He just had the motor rebuilt and might be selling it, just in case anyone is interested.

Planning on keeping the mods very very simple. Future mods:
Aspec Lip Kit w/ Aspec rear decklid spoiler
Type S Wheels
Tint
Maybe a DVD player

I LOVE the feel of the TL. My dad has an 06 TL in white with creme interior but Automatic. LOVE the way it drives and pulls... just with it was RWD or even AWD

same difficult decision i had when buying cars

reasons why i picked the TL over G35

-more room (i've recently started driving a lot of family around which included my cousins aged 4-12 and the civic wasn't cutting it)
-cheaper insurance
-this one had navi and in 6spd, somewhat rare for both TL's and G35's
-better mpg
-more little gadgets
-FWD (better for snow, however i don't drive in snow anyways)

things G35's have over the TL
-Better looks/more sporty (my opinion)
-Faster

small update, bought the aspec lip kit for a rediculous price. full oem aspec lip kit, factory painted shipped to my house for $792. will have pics when it gets warmer out so i can install it
