NATCC Honda Accord

Does anybody know what engine was in the NATCC Honda Accords?

Any information regarding the cars would be appreciated, I'm having a hard time finding information on them.

The same Accord was raced in Japan and Europe, they even have the Castrol version in the Honda museum in Japan (forgot prefecture).

Yeah I looked at those but those are slightly different and were never released here, they are the same chassis but they're for the European and Asian market, we never got them and hence they do have small differences some maybe being engine variations.

That model was actually what the European Accord Type R was based off of.

EDIT: Actually the chassis isn't even exactly the same, it's the CF chassis, the Accord I'm looking for is based off of the CD chassis.

Yeah man, I have mad respect for those cars now, I use to look at them just like an everyday car, then I started watching North American touring car racing and it changed everything, they don't look half bad either when slammed and so on like the race cars.
