Need help with speedometer sticking

Hey everyone,

So I have 95 Honda Civic LX, just had some work done at a local shop had my distributor replaced and had my valve seal replaced, after getting my car back I had a problem with the idle surging at stops..

Since yesterday I have been having another problem, when I turn on my car the speedometer jumps around then sticks at 20, turning the car off once or twice fixes it and it doesn't have any problems while driving...

Any help on what could be the problem?

I did search for answers on other threads and couldn't find one..

Idle surge - CEL codes? Disconnected vacuum hose? Air in cooling system? Dirty IACV and/or FITV?

Speedometer - the problem is likely the speedometer itself.

The shop told me about the possible air in the coolant.. other than that I know nothing really first car.. don't really know anything about cars.
